August: All Systems Go!
As an organism, our bodies are made up of complex and interconnected systems that are constantly communicating with each other and the brain in order to function optimally and maintain homeostasis. At a cellular level our most basic building blocks of life take in nutrients to convert into energy and carry out specialized functions. Insufficient sleep, poor quality digestion, nutrient deficiency, inflammation, stress and low immune function can sap us of our vitality, affect our mood and cognitive function and set the stage for illness and chronic disease. This month's box has a little something to nourish and support the whole body, to make sure you have the energy and vitality you need for the rest of the summer and into autumn.
Enjoy the remaining weeks of summer with All Systems Go!

Boxes are offered with sliding scale prices. To learn more about sliding scale pricing, please read this post. But basically, in a nut shell (pun intended!), I invite you to pay one of the reduced fees, if paying the full price would cause you to be less secure in your ability to meet your food, health, housing or essential transport needs. To determine where you fall on the scale when choosing which price to pay, please refer to this infographic created by Alexis J. Cunningfolk (Click image to enlarge).
