Herbal Consultations

As a clinical herbalist, I am interested in hearing the story of your health concerns. During the initial 90 minute consultation I listen to you and work with you to create an individualized herbal wellness plan that is tailored to your unique needs and supports your wellness goals, wherever you are at.

Trained in the tradition of Western herbalism and energetics, and drawing on the science of phytochemistry and physiology, my role is: 
1) t0 collaborate with and empower my clients by sharing information about herbs, nutrition and lifestyle practices, and 
2) to create custom herbal formulas that are crafted from high-quality, sustainably-sourced herbs, many of which are grown and gathered myself.

I am not a doctor and I do not practice medicine. I do not diagnose or treat diseases or medical conditions. Herbal consultations are just one aspect of your health support network and they are not a substitute or replacement for the care provided by licensed physicians and other healthcare workers. Think of me as your herbal matchmaker helping you connect with the plants who can help you with your health goals!

Discovery Consultation (Free)

Initial Consultation ($90.45 to $169.50 HST included, sliding scale)
90 minute detailed intake of your health history.
Following the Initial Consultation you will receive your Herbal Wellness Plan. This customized plan may include herbal formulas, suggestions for diet and lifestyle modifications , or recommendations for other therapies, and will be sent to you by email within five business days of your initial consultation.

Follow-up Consultation ($39.55 to $84.75 HST included, sliding scale)
30 to 45 minutes
I recommend a follow-up four to six weeks after the initial consultation to check in and review your progress, answer any questions, listen to your feedback, and make adjustments as needed. 

Short Consultation ($16.95 to $39.55 HST included, sliding scale)
Up to 30 minutes
These shorter sessions can be booked as needed to address minor or acute conditions such as colds and flu, minor injuries, or for a more brief check-in to review progress and answer quick questions. 

Herbal Formula Prices
The cost of the herbal formulas are not included in the consultation fees. A wellness plan typically includes a tincture or two, and/or a herbal tea.

Herbal tinctures: $25 per 100 ml
Dried tea: $15 per 100 g
Shipping (Canada only) or Delivery (Perth, Carleton Place and downtown Ottawa): $20

If finances are a barrier to accessing herbal care, I invite you to book a free 45 to 60 minute consultation. Online appointments will be available on the first Thursday of the month from 6 pm to 8 pm, on a first-come first-served basis. Herbal formulas will be available by pay-what-you-can, plus $20 shipping or delivery to Perth, Carleton Place and downtown Ottawa.
