Wild Garden Apprentice Days
Over the last few years I've received numerous kind offers from folks interested in helping out and lending a hand with the work I do. I am so grateful for this and I can always use the help, but the administrative piece of communicating and coordinating with individual people is something I never seem to be able to find the time for. Enter: Apprentice Days
Apprentice Days are set dates (Tuesday evenings from 6-8 pm) throughout the growing season for informal, hands-on learning opportunities and work on a variety of herb related tasks. On Apprentice Days you may find yourself in a circle on the lawn garbling dried herbs, while laughing and chatting with the person next to you or quietly harvesting wild greens on a mild spring evening or pressing tinctures on a rainy day.

In gratitude for the help I receive, participants can put each hour they help out towards attending walks and workshops offered in the current year. For example, if a participant works for two hours, they can attend a 2 hour walk for free.*
To reduce the amount of organising that I have to do, I will ask that if you are interested in attending any of the Apprentice Days that you contact me to have your name added to an email list. There will be no need to RSVP once you are on the list. I will send out one reminder email to the list before each Apprentice Day and if you can make it out that's great! If that date doesn't end up working out for you no worries, I will be here between those hours whether it's a group of 8, 3 or just me.
*In order to recover my costs some classes may have a small materials fee
